Reba McEntire calls out fake post about Taylor Swift

Yesterday, The Voice star sent a message to fans on Facebook over the fake news post from a page called America Loves Liberty.

Reba McEntire wrote: “Please don’t believe everything you see on the Internet. I did not say this. Taylor [Swift] is a wonderful artist, strong role model and has done so much good for so many people and the music industry”.

Since the fake post gained traction, it has been shared on many platforms. On the page itself it says “nothing on this page is real”, however, users may not click on a page’s About Me section to find out if it was true.

The post has received 1.6k comments and been shared more than 3,000 times already, in just three days.

Linking an article that claims the country singer was outraged at the Super Bowl when she noticed Taylor drinking and laughing in the VIP Suite while she sang the National Anthem – which didn’t happen.

It wrongly quotes Reba seeing her “laughing it up and doing Jager bombs. Disrespectful as all get out”.

They then claims a fake journalist heard the Lover hitmaker described Reba as ‘sub-par’ performer who ‘looks like a frog’.
